Hello everyone,
As always, thanks for stopping by this blog. The hard working crew at the farm would like to share photos of the farm:
If you have a horse in need of a place to stay, feel free to contact the farm manager, her name is Cheyenne, at her phone number at the following: 860 759-8362.
On another note, if you are in need of a farrier, the crew on the farm is sharing the name and contact of the farm's farrier. When the need arises, Rolling Meadows Farm L.L.C. uses the services of a hard working farrier, his name is Nacho Barron, and can be reached at (860) 334-8140. When contacting him for your farrier needs, please let him know that you received his contact courtesy of this blog and reference the hashtag #CTIronHorseStables.
One might ask, what exactly is a farrier? Well, farriers need to have some blacksmith training in order to properly develop a proper metal shoe. A farrier is a specialist in equine hoof care, including the trimming and balancing of horses' hooves and the placing of shoes on their hooves, if necessary. Ideally, a horse should meet up with a farrier every 4-6 weeks. Farriers have a dangerous job trying to care for the hooves of horses. The danger increases when working on a horse that lacks training or previous encounters with farriers.
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog! More farm content is coming from the hardworking crew so stay tuned...
Warm wishes,
Iron Horse Stables
